If there was a possibility of gaining the rights to make a movie about
The Catcher and the Rye we think that it would have a great impact on people because of the main character, Holden Caulfield, and his personality. He was a young boy who had been kicked out of several schools including Pency Prep because of his grades and behavior. Holden was a lonely teenager who turned to bad habits. Many people would fall in love with Sallinger's messages of compasion and detachment that he trys to convey.
Lorna and I agree with what you two lovely ladies posted.
ReplyDeleteGreat job girls. Who knows what a movie would be like?
ReplyDeletei agree.
ReplyDeleteagreed :)
ReplyDeleteim gonna disagree just cuz everyone else agreed :) if they made a movie itd suck . <3
ReplyDeleteI've read this book before and so I have no idea how they could ever make a halfway decent movie out of it. The book was terrible. Some people might like it, but Amber and I just don't think it's right to go against a man's wishes just because he's dead and can't do anything about it now.
ReplyDeletekenzi and i think that it would be very unlikely to ever get the rights to make a movie out of "The Catcher In the Rye," and people today probably wouldn't appreciate it even if it was made into a film :)
ReplyDeleteDear kendra and tiff !!
ReplyDeletei Agree also :) <3
